Visiting The Junction in the River Arts District has been long overdue for me so I’m thrilled to say that I finally made it happen. I’ve tried a couple times forgetting that they are closed on Monday but with a career change I have more flexibility to dine around.
My wife and I had dinner
with friends or ours, Ken and Robin Pace.
Robin has her artwork hanging in the Junction right now. Her chalk pastels are completely unique and
beautiful. I bought one of her originals
at a charity auction a couple of years ago and proudly have it hanging in our
house. Yes it is available online, click
here. But take the time to stop by the
junction and enjoy their beauty while having a bite to eat or a cocktail.
The Junction describes
itself as ...

a slow-food inspired,
neighborhood eatery featuring seasonal "from scratch" fare and
freshly squeezed cocktails. Our dinner hours are 5-11 p.m. Tuesday - Saturday
and we serve brunch Saturday & Sunday from 10:30-2:30. We offer an eclectic
Southern influenced menu to complement our rockin' seasonal cocktails. We also
have superb wines by the glass & bottle, as well as local microbrews and
PBR on draft.
